What were we thinking?
OK. Here's the story as I know it. First of all I have to say that it was all Leland's idea. The year was 1984. The date was Oct. 31st. Leland decided that it would be really funny to dress up like our good friends Julie and Cyd who were attending BYU. We got all "dolled" up at Leland's house with a little help from Gail. We then headed to Cyd's house. This picture was taken with Cyd's dad in the middle. He paid the gas money for us to go to BYU and surprise our friends. I'm not sure what happened to Bryan that night. Landes and Brad were attending Dixie at the time. Perhaps they have their own Halloween stories to share.

I'm pretty sure this was Brent's idea and you've got to admitt he does make a better coed than me. The guy copping a feel in the photo is Cyd's neighbor, not her dad. I vaguely remember the trip down to BYU and the response we got was underwhelming. Go figure.
And sorry, the year was 1983. I was in Japan in Oct 1984.
Thanks for the corrections on this Lee. I remember that Cyd's dad was a bishop at one time and probably wouldn't be copping. Looks and bust size aside, I think we were spitting images of our COED counterparts! BTW--I think this kind of thing is no longer allowed at BYU. They are worried that cross dressing might bring out the feminine side too strongly and lead to other more serious unpardonable sins!
