Skiing

These two pictures of Leland and me were taken on January 12, 2007 at The Canyons (formerly known as Park West) It looks like I'm a little bit older and a little bit fatter, but I still have long skis and can carve up the hill just as good as the next short ski parabolic hombre that tries to show off in front of me.

360 Attempt

This was taken at some point in 1983-84. We were skiing at Brighton. My tanning partner is Darren Black. Do you remember him?

This is perhaps the best jump picture in my collection. Can it get much better than that?

This was spring 1984. I think Leland, Landes, and Bryan were on their missions.

Brad, RJ, Brent, and Rolan

This one has a story. Leland and I went powder skiing at Powder Mountain and I took this shot just before we realized that we had been sking out of bounds. We must have hiked for an hour to get back to the lift. The powder was amazing though! If I remember correctly, it was worth the extra hiking.

This short skied parabolic showoff will be the first to admit that I was dusted by the older. fatter throwback with rear enteries and long skinnies. I had to take my skis in for a base weld repair due to a core deep rock gouge. Looks like my ego needs a base weld, too. Brent sent me his "best jump" photo on my mission. Note he is wearing a kamikaze headband which I sent him that gave him the extra strength and daring to accomplish his arial manuvere. How do you spell check these coment thigs? They now have a lift at Pow Mow that services the area we ducked under the rope to poach O.B. powder and had to hike. I believe my sqat turn was in a mogul field but I'm sure the tecnique is similar in the powder.
